Planting Instructions: Choose a location with moist, acidic, well-drained soil in part shade. This location should also have protection from strong winds. This azalea will grow in full sun, but it prefers filtered sunlight or morning sun. Be sure to provide sufficient moisture while the plant becomes established. This azalea is slow to grow to be patient as it gets established. After blooming, fertilize with an acidic fertilizer. Promote new growth by removing spent flowers. May be planted in any well-drained soil. 1. Dig a hole large enough to encompass the roots without bending or circling. 2. Set the plant in place so the crown (part of the plant where the roots meet the stem) is about 1-2” below the soil surface. 3. Cover with soil to the original soil surface and water thoroughly.
