Planting/Care Instructions +

Planting Instructions: Plant in spring, after the ground, warms to about 50°F. Choose a location with well-drained soil in full to partial sun. Dig a hole 6" deep and place the bulb in the hole pointed side up. Cover with soil and water thoroughly. Supply moisture and ample organic material through the growing season and mulch to keep roots cool and moist. As soon as the bloom has faded, remove it. Allow stems to die back naturally in the fall. A complete fertilizer (5-10-10 or 10-20-20) may be applied when the stem starts to emerge, and again, just before flowering.
