Fortunei ‘Gold Standard’ has heart-shaped, corrugated, large broad leaves with creamy yellow and variable dark green margins. A very desirable hosta! This plant is a moderately vigorous grower and it multiplies rapidly into a graceful, spreading mound. By summer, centers turn to parchment gold. The plant may be divided every few years or left undisturbed indefinitely. Hosta’s perform well in woodland settings where filtered light is abundant.

Planting Instructions: May be planted in any well-drained soil. Dig a hole large enough to encompass the roots without bending or circling. Set the plant in place so the eyes (tender white or purple swelling protruding from the crown area) are about 1-2 inches below the soil surface. Cover with soil to the original soil surface and water thoroughly.
