Grow Your Own Fresh Fruit Trees! Imagine fresh nectarine pie from your own nectarine tree!

‘Red Gold’ is one of the most popular home-grown nectarines.  It is a vigorous and productive nectarine cultivar with high quality fruit.  The large freestone fruit has yellow flesh with a glossy red and gold skin.  It also has great shelf life.  ‘Red Gold’ is sweet and tangy making it a delicious snack or delectable in pies and jams.  Beyond its incredible flavor, this self-pollinating nectarine adds seasonal interest to the landscape with stunning pink blooms in the spring, glossy fruit late summer, and golden yellow foliage in the fall.

As a semi dwarf cultivar, ‘Red Gold’ is a compact tree that does well with limited space.  It is heat resistant and drought tolerant.  It is also cold hardy to -20°F.  ‘Red Gold’ is a great choice for those seeking a low maintenance fruit tree.
